Symptoms Of Hemorrhoids
If you are experiencing burning, pain, or itching in your rear area, unfortunately what you may be experiencing are the symptoms of hemorrhoids. Many people do not realize or know they have hemorrhoids because the area in which symptoms of hemorrhoids take place is embarrassing and many people choose to try and ignore the situation.
While it is true that the symptoms of hemorrhoids are not table discussion, they should not be ignored because if left untreated hemorrhoids can get more painful and so large they require surgery to remove.
The reason why hemorrhoids continue to grow if you ignore the symptoms of hemorrhoids is because a hemorrhoid is the result of a weak blood vessel that starts to swell. Therefore gradually the pressure on the vein increases which cause the hemorrhoid to inflate with more blood which leads in turn to more swelling. As the swelling increases you will notice that the symptoms of hemorrhoids continue to grow larger and very painful. Unfortunately, the more painful you allow these symptoms of hemorrhoids to become; the harder it becomes to repair the swollen vein.
Therefore, if you experience any of the common symptoms of hemorrhoids you need to seek medical help quickly so that you can treat the hemorrhoids promptly medically instead of having to resort to surgical means.
Thus if you experience any of the typical symptoms of hemorrhoids (which to repeat are pain, bleeding, inability to pass a bowel movement, and lumps around the rectal area) you should set up an appointment with your family doctor or a gastronologist.
Although likely your doctor will just diagnose your hemorrhoids, if you have bleeding there could be a danger of cancer and your doctor will recommend a colonoscopy just to ensure you are safe and then prescribe you medication for your hemorrhoids.
